Century cigarettes were first produced in the United States by Lorillard, and introduced in 1967. They continued for a few years, but were eventually withdrawn. The brand was reintroduced in 1983, this time by R. J. Reynolds Tobacco, who made them in full flavor and lights, and also, notably, in a 25-pack.
The Hong Konger version of Century is made by Nanyang Brothers Tobacco.
