Bahman cigarettes are registered to the Iranian Tobacco monopoly (IRITC) and are manufactured in Iran. A number of different variants are available: king size box, king size soft pack, slims soft pack and short (70 mm) soft pack.
Bahman is named for the month in the Iranian calendar in which the revolution occurred. Virtually all IRITC brands are named after months in the calendar (Farvadin, Tir, etc.).
Previously, Bahman was manufactured under license by Reemstma in Germany and was known in the market as “Bahman Swiss”. At one stage it was also manufactured in Mexico.
The trademark is registered in a number of other countries by another company.
