British Consols cigarettes were made in Canada by the Macdonald Tobacco Company. Originally introduced in the 1920s in a regular-sized, non-filtered format, it would later be made with in cork-tipped and filter-tipped varieties. The brand was made until sometime in the 1970s, when they were discontinued.
