State Express 333 was originally produced in the United Kingdom by Ardath Tobacco Co. Ltd.. The rights to the State Express brand were sold to British American Tobacco in 1925.
In Canada, they were made by Imperial Tobacco Canada, but have long since been discontinued. The brand (which was available in plain-end and cork-tip) was also manufactured and sold in Australia and Holland.
