These cigarettes are the premium line of cigarettes from furongwang and are quite expensive, generally, running for 1200 - 1800 RMB ($150 - $225 USD) per carton (200 cigarettes) depending on distance from Hunan province (more expensive the further you get) and also on where they are purchased. A shop in the Beijing Airport had a carton of the blue & gold for sale for 1300 RMB ($162.50 USD). In comparison, the average salary of a recent domestic college graduate is 1000 - 2000 RMB per month.
They have the distinctive furongwang holographic crown (see below) on its filter (the cigarettes from the hardpack have a gold crown). The cigarettes burn moderately fast and build up a long "cherry" when smoking. Furongwang cigarettes have a reputation for being the brand of choice amongst the upper class. Many see it as a flagrant display of wealth and status.
