Cut Rag Processors (Private) Limited was formed in February 2000 as the first independent production facility in Zimbabwe for the manufacture of cigarettes and cut rag tobacco for both the export and local markets. Production at the facility began in June 2001 with the manufacture of the Remington Gold brand of cigarettes.
