A decorative metal Christmas cigarette tin that was issued in December, 1941. It is embossed in the upper right corner with the facing gold-metal medallion busts of Mrs. Isie K. Smuts (the wife of Jan Smuts) and Mr. Jan Smuts (the Prime Minister of South Africa during World War 2). In the lower left-hand corner it was inscribed with a 3/4 view of a Springbok's head issuant from a red letter "V" for Victory / ''Victorie'' and the label "''Kersfees'' - Christmas - 1941".
