Around forty years ago global anti-smoking campaign has been started all over the world. In 1964, warning labels became a strict law requirement on every tobacco product. A ban on all cigarette advertising on TV took effect on January 2, 1971 in USA. Finally, great number of mostly developed countries have enacted bans on smoking in public places or workplaces since the early 2000s.
Of course, the background of these measures is obvious. But sometimes it seems like governments, social anti-smoking organizations, medicine institutions, paying so much attention to the harm of tobacco, just ignore other global problems of humanity, which are not less serious and can lead to high mortality rates.
Immuno and stress resistance, environmental pollution, chemical food additives and conservants have become a common thing nowadays.

So, undoubtedly, strict smoking restrictions are the important and essential steps in the national health care movement. But focusing on it, do not forget about other existing problems, as their negative impact on the health of our nation is becoming more and more serious.
