Baffra Oriental tobacco grown in north-central Turkey. King size (85 mm), soft pack, 20 cigarettes in a pack.
Brands, such as Baffra, Gemischte, Salon, Samsun, Stambul, or Sultan have long been forgotten today. It was not until after the introduction of cigarette machines, starting 1882, that the cigarette hit it off. One of these successful products, which has shown its mettle in various forms since these early beginnings to this very day, is the Memphis cigarette which was introduced 106 years ago.
